It is first aged for 11 months in charred American White Oak barrels, and then it is aged for an additional month in new, heavily toasted American White Oak barrels. This extra finishing process gives it a rich, smooth, and complex flavor profile that distinguishes it from regular reposado tequilas. Expect notes of cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and hints of spice.
