WILD TURKEY Masters Keep One is a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon that represents the harmony between the preferences of two generations of Wild Turkey Master Distillers: Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie Russell. To reflect Jimmy’s love for mid-aged bourbons, Eddie selected barrels aged between 9 and 10 years. To honor his own passion for the complex characteristics of older bourbons, he added a small batch of carefully aged 14-year-old whiskey. These two profiles were united for a second maturation in specially toasted and charred new oak barrels, a process that takes place in one of Eddie’s favorite timber rickhouses. The result is a 101 proof (50.5% alcohol by volume) bourbon with a bold yet balanced flavor profile, offering sweet notes of honey, caramel, and vanilla, with a fresh and lingering toasted oak finish.
